Melissa lives and writes in southern California, where she also finds time to tend to the care and feeding of four delightful children. Her writing focuses on contemporary motherhood, and has appeared in print and online publications such as The Mothers Movement Online and Mamazine.com.
Melissa graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her area of focus is Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuropsychology, and her background includes extensive training in research design and statistical methods. Melissa also holds minors in History, Literature, and Women’s Studies.
